Eli’s primary area of practice has always been trusts and estates. He enjoys using his legal and tax knowledge to assist clients throughout the estate planning process, and in the administration of decedents’ estates.
Eli represents a broad range of clients, including business owners, financial advisors, young professionals, retirees, artists, and professional athletes. He often advises clients on international issues that arise in the context of estate planning.
Eli is an annual update author of the Estate and Gift Tax Chapter of CEB's California Estate Planning Treatise. He is also a past Chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the San Francisco Barristers Club.
Prior to joining Freeland Cooper & Foreman, Eli served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge John Dearman in the Probate Department of the San Francisco Superior Court.
