Kate C. Freeland

Kate Clair Freeland has been practicing law in California since her graduation from Yale Law School. Her practice has an emphasis on complex estate planning, including significant experience in structuring and planning sophisticated business transactions, particularly for the owners of closely held businesses.  This expertise translates into a unique ability to integrate our clients’ estate planning, charitable and business planning needs.  

Her work includes multigenerational business and tax planning, and frequently involves providing advice to other professionals.

Her extensive experience in the post-death administration of large estates assures that families have the best possible counsel from both a tax and practical point of view during what is often a difficult time.
